Water For People was conceived as a North American response to the water, sanitation, and health needs of millions living in the developing world.

The Founders’ Award was established by the Board of Directors of Water For People in 2001 as a special recognition for volunteers who show outstanding service to this international humanitarian effort. Ms. Grieves is a key member of the Illinois Section of the American Water Works Association Water for People fundraising committee.

The award ceremony was held during the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference & Exposition in Philadelphia on June 14th, 2017.

“I am honored to receive this award,” says Ms. Grieves, “Water For People is a great organization aimed at helping folks achieve the most basic of humankind necessities–potable water and adequate sanitation.”

Ms. Grieves joined Baxter & Woodman in 1996 and currently serves as the Crystal Lake Regional Manager.
