CSWEA Recognizes B&W Employees with Awards

The Central States Water Environment Association honored two Baxter & Woodman employees at the Association’s 90th Annual Meeting Awards Banquet on May 24, 2017, in St. Paul, MN.

Amanda Heller received the Water Stewardship Award. This award recognizes contributions of an individual for outstanding humanitarian service to improve and sustain our global water environment. Amanda is the Global Water Stewardship (GWS) Chair and has been involved the organization since its establishment in 2013. She has traveled to Costa Rica three times with GWS to educate students about the importance of clean water and to work on GWS’s three sanitation improvement projects. Amanda joined Baxter & Woodman in 2014 and works as an Environmental Engineer in the Wastewater Department.

Derek Wold PE, BCEE received the Collection Systems Award. This award is presented to an Association member in recognition of outstanding contributions in advancing collection system knowledge resulting in direct or indirect improvement in water quality. Derek has been a member of CSWEA since 1996. Derek joined Baxter & Woodman in 1996 and serves on the Board of Directors and as Executive Vice President of Water/Wastewater.
