Infrastructure_ACommunities in Florida face significant infrastructure needs to protect public health, provide safe roadways, and ensure the availability of clean drinking water. As infrastructure ages, the integrity of water, wastewater and stormwater pipelines deteriorates due to corrosion, cracks, settling, tree root intrusion and other disturbances that develop over time. Roadways are subject to ongoing wear and tear due to daily use and destructive environmental conditions. In addition, escalating capacity demands due to suburban sprawl and population growth can stress existing infrastructure capacity that may no longer be adequate to meet community needs because of size and age.

We provide infrastructure planning, design and construction services to help communities meet on-going improvement needs. By instituting planned replacement programs that pre-empt the occurrence of pipe failures, and by accurately assessing present and future demands, we work with utility managers to gain leverage on cost-effective planning and management of infrastructure needs on a system-wide basis.

To adequately maintain established levels of service, the City of Delray Beach implemented an aggressive Capital Improvements Program to accelerate roadway improvements, integrate utility requirements within the identified roadway areas and minimize impact on revenues by implementing a $12 million bond program. We provided engineering services for four of the bond projects which totaled $4.7 million in construction costs. All of the projects were completed on-schedule and within budget of the City’s allocated costs. We strive to exceed the expectations of our clients and take pride in completing and delivering quality work on-time.
